Analytical thinking, creativity, writing and photography are some of the tools in my possession. I try and bring them all into use when managing the online presence of brands.
I have 4+ years of experience with managing Facebook and Instagram accounts, including content creation, visual language direction and PPC campaign management.
I also have years of experience in the music industry and have worked extensively with filmmakers and other creators.
video: production and art direction for meuban
I was in charge of finding the right directors and artists to create videos for the band I manage, Meuban.
Thus, I was responsible for shaping the band visual language.
This included collaborations with experimental artists such as J.D. Doria and Linea, as well as building long relationships with the emerging True Twins (Itamaer Toren and Almog Sella) and Zohar Dvir.
I was responsible for production: from contacting the right people, securing locations and budget, scheduling - all to make sure the end product is amazing.
I had a say with editing decisions, briefing and art direction. I worked closely with the video makers and had good relationships with them, thus making sure the band’s vision was executed in the best possible way.
I also made sure these videos were represented properly in social media by creating snippets, trailers, Instagram stories, promotional campaigns etc.

creative thinking through social media
I managed and operated several social media channels, for Hamon Volume, Lili Franko and Meuban.
I was also PPC campaign manager for Hamon Volume, Meuban, Lili Franko, Adif College and NMR Insurance.
I always bring the approach that social media does not exist in a vacuum: that the language - both written and visual - should be consistent throughout (with adjustments to fit each platform, of course).
Thus, I kept a clear message through Facebook posts, newsletters, Instagram and websites that was translated into actions (ticket purchases, downloads etc.)
Mainly with Meuban, I was hands-on with all things graphics - and created the designs for most of the band’s events.
how it all comes together - a study case
As a manager of an Indie band, as a booking agent at Hamon Volume and as a PPC campaign manager - I’ve utilized different approaches and techniques through social media. A great example of all these forces working together will be through the concerts of Chilean psych band Follakzoid in Israel.
As a young booking agent at Hamon Volume, I alerted the bosses to an interesting small band from Chile and that it might be an interesting prospect to bring them to perform in Israel. One thing led to another, and I was put as the executive producer of the whole operation: from planning the budget, arranging for visas and accommodation - to building the promotional strategy. I pulled all the resources I could think of to make sure this niche event will be as awesome as it could.
Besides the usual PR press items, we booked my band, Meuban, as an opening act. Then, we created a unique event at Kuli Alma titled ‘Earthquake: a Night Inspired by Chilean Psychedelic Music’. The event was branded with a unique title and design (for which I chose the designer and gave art direction), and had the Kuli bar serve empanadas and pisco - all alongside a curated music experience with a live show, DJs and video art.
The event was accompanied by an article about the Chilean psych scene (written by me for TEDER.FM magazine) and was recommended by Time Out Tel-Aviv.
This, together with conventional promotion and targeted social media campaigns, made the shows a great success. Follakzoid also came back to perform in Israel at InDnegev 2019.
To summarize: I led the campaign through several social media channels (Hamon Volume’s page and Meuban’s, with advertiser access to Follakzoid’s page) and made sure the virtual part was backed up by things happening in the real world. I wrote the press releases, the social media content, newsletters and an article. I also produced live events, was in charge of logistics and hired graphic designers to fulfill my vision.
